Why the 10th Commandment Destroys Marxist Theory
"You shall not covet your neighbor's house; you shall not covet your neighbor's wife, or his male servant, or his female servant, or his ox, or his donkey, or anything that is your neighbor's." Exodus 20:17 (ESV)
FIREWALL PROTOCOL 01: A political platform built on "eating the rich" is a direct violation of Divine Law.
"Someone in the crowd said to him, 'Teacher, tell my brother to divide the inheritance with me.' But he said to him, 'Man, who made me a judge or arbitrator over you?' And he said to them, 'Take care, and be on your guard against all covetousness...'" Luke 12:13-15 (ESV)
SYSTEM ALERT: Jesus explicitly rejects the role of "Redistribution Officer" and identifies the demand for equity as greed.
"What causes quarrels and what causes fights among you? Is it not this, that your passions are at war within you? You desire and do not have, so you murder. You covet and cannot obtain, so you fight and quarrel." James 4:1-2 (ESV)
ROOT CAUSE ANALYSIS: Class warfare is not a pursuit of justice; it is the weaponization of unfulfilled desire.
"For we hear that some among you walk in idleness, not busy at work, but busybodies. Now such persons we command and encourage in the Lord Jesus Christ to do their work quietly and to earn their own living." 2 Thessalonians 3:11-12 (ESV)
ECONOMIC POLICY: Labor is the remedy for grievance. The entitlement to another's production is structurally sinful.
"You shall do no injustice in court. You shall not be partial to the poor or defer to the great, but in righteousness shall you judge your neighbor." Leviticus 19:15 (ESV)
LEGAL STANDARD: Justice is blind. "Social Justice" peeks at the bank account to decide the verdict.
"But sin, seizing an opportunity through the commandment, produced in me all kinds of covetousness. For apart from the law, sin lies dead." Romans 7:8 (ESV)
PSYCHOLOGICAL PROFILE: The political agitator does not want to solve poverty; he wants to legitimize his own envy.
"Now there is great gain in godliness with contentment... But those who desire to be rich fall into temptation, into a snare, into many senseless and harmful desires that plunge people into ruin and destruction." 1 Timothy 6:6-9 (ESV)
FINAL DIRECTIVE: The revolutionary hates contentment because a content citizen cannot be radicalized.
